Background of Israelites from Egypt until before the crossing of Jordan River.
I. Wonderful Tomorrow
Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do amazing things among you.” (NIV)
Sometimes we get used to our situation not noticing the difference of today and tomorrow.
Our lives are in the hands of God.
There is a beautiful tomorrow for you.
God prepared a wonderful tomorrow for you.
Our tomorrow depends on our obedience to God today.
How do you see your tomorrow? Same or different?
God wants us to see that tomorrow is better than today.
Don’t lose hope today, there is still a tomorrow.
Always praise God no matter what the circumstances.
1. Blessing in the Promised Land
2. Abundant life from Christ
3. Holy Spirit living in you
The Ark of Covenant symbolizes the presence of God in the Old Testament.
Ark of Covenant’s Content:
1. Manna symbolizing God’s provision
2. Aaron’s staff represents God’s power
3. 10 Commandments’ Tablets represents the word of God
4. Upuan ng biyaya represents God’s presence
II. Time of Waiting v.16
God wants to do in tomorrow will require that crisis time of waiting for the fulfillment of His promise.
The 12 leaders and the ark of covenant went ahead before the Israelites.
The water stops start from the city of Adam is 19 miles away from the 12 leaders who carries the ark of covenant.
In time of waiting, sometimes we experience doubt, fear, anxiety and impatience.
God wants to do miracles depending on the trust, courage, faith and obedience of the 12 leaders.
Sometimes, we soaked to the water of life and feel that God is has abandoned us but always remember God moves in mysterious way making miracles happen in our lives.
Don’t be impatient.
Wait in the work of God in your life, trusting in Him.
Stay in the presence of God no matter what happens and God will do miracles in your life.
Wait in the fulfillment of God’s promises in your life.
The task assigned to you by God is only for you so you need to do it because many people are in your hands.
Maraming tao ang umaasa sa’yo.
Many people are looking at you and will be affected by your actions so you need to do your responsibilities and duties.
Many people depended in you especially the people around you.
Sometimes we are already tired but we still have things to do for God.
Always remember in these things, God will do miracle in your life and the life of other people around you.
God’s miracles depend on your courage and obedience to Him.
Can you stand for God no matter what happens?
